| biological activity | N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin is a polyphenol isolated from safflower seeds and has antioxidant, anti-atherosclerosis and anti-inflammatory properties. N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin reduces PDGF-induced effects on PDGFR tyrosine phosphorylation and Ca2 + release in the sarcoplasmic reticulum. N-(p-Coumaroyl) Serotonin can improve atherosclerosis and aortic wall enlargement, and is often used in the study of atherosclerosis. |
